My spider at a reasonable size
A week or so ago (22nd-24th Oct) the MCM x EGX show was happening at the ExCeL exhibition centre in London. Comicon This is the largest event for the UK’s gaming, comic and pop culture community. According to the organisers over 100,000 fans turned up.
As part of the show the London Origami group were invited to demonstrate and teach origami. As part of the display they chose to fold a very large version of my spider.
At the left you can see them attaching the spider to the display board

This spider has also been folded at a much smaller scale by London Origami member Brendan Plumb…
That is a normal sized finger
Brendan has an Instagram page where you can see more of his incredibly small folding.
And, if you haven’t had enough of spiders yet, here are the diagrams to fold your own version.
Great model Rikki, as you already know, I love it.
It has probably been said to you before but once the legs are together, but before the body strip goes on, resembles the face hugger from the Alien films. Could you contrive a way to make the strip into the tail of the face hugger and lock it to the legs without it falling off?
